Mission
Statement
O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission will assist in developing meaningful methods to reduce aircraft noise in neighborhoods surrounding O’Hare International Airport through home and school sound insulation and to reduce, wherever possible, aircraft noise at its source.
Vision Statement
The O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission will build and maintain coalitions of
communities and citizens dedicated to the reduction of aircraft noise at and
near O'Hare International Airport, and thereby enhance the quality of life
for area residents.
