Committee Chair Frank Damato has a diverse career history. He served as First
Deputy Commissioner for the City of Chicago Department of Consumer Services. Mr.
Damato also served as an Alderman and Democratic Ward Committeeman for the City
of Chicago's 37th Ward, and Chairman of the Chicago City Council Aviation
Committee. Subsequently, he was a Commissioner on the Cook
County Board of Commissioners and chaired its Committee on Building and Zoning.
Currently, he is Coordinator of Community and Intergovernmental Affairs of the
Cook County Forest Preserve District.
